Changes in LWVMS Organizational Structure

Members in attendance at the Annual Meeting on April 26 agreed that our League's future is dependent on our being able to recruit and retain members, as well as to support and groom members for leadership roles.

The plan to transition to a "streamlined League" as set forth in LWV guidelines (see ABCs of the Streamlined League) would have us develop a leadership team of 4-5 members who provide the governance structure. Traditional portfolios such as voter services would still exist, but membership, money mgmt. secretarial, and traditional roles such as president, co-president, et al. would constitute the leadership team. This will allow the burden of the offices to be shared and hopefully result in our being able to move ahead in the near term and strengthen us for the long term.

Message from the President: Your Streamlined League.

Please join us at the next Leadership Team Meeting.
